We have an exciting opportunity to join the Mecklen Hotel, a Tribute by Marriott, brand new to the Charlotte University Area.

What is a Tribute by Marriott Hotel? The Tribute Portfolio hotel is a member of the Marriott Bonvoy hotel brand that features independent, boutique hotels known for their unique character, captivating design, and vibrant social scene. These hotels emphasize their individuality and connection with the community, offering guests a fresh perspective and an authentic travel experience.

The Role

We are seeking a polished and personable Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of our hotel. As the first point of contact, you will set the tone for each guest’s stay with your professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness. This role requires an individual who thrives in a high-touch, service-driven environment. If you enjoy engaging with others and have a winning personality and high sense of responsibility – this role is perfect for you! The following reflects the essential job duties but does not restrict tasks that may be assigned. Duties of this job may be changed at management’s discretion.

Duties Include:

Greet guests with a genuine smile and warm hospitality upon arrival.
Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring accuracy in reservation and billing information.
Anticipate guest needs and provide tailored recommendations for dining, entertainment, and local attractions.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Maintain a polished front desk area and uphold the hotel’s aesthetic and service standards.
Assist with administrative tasks, concierge services, and daily reporting.

Requirements:

Previous front desk or hospitality experience preferred; high-end hotel experience a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Professional demeanor, well-groomed appearance, and a service-oriented mindset.
Familiarity with Lightspeed is a plus.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
