About the Role

Tradier is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our trading platform and supporting brokerage systems. In this role, you'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations to validate new features, identify potential issues before they reach production, and help maintain the high level of quality our clients expect.

Success in this role requires more than technical testing skills. We're looking for someone who understands how traders interact with a brokerage platform and can think critically about real-world trading scenarios, edge cases, and operational workflows. You'll play a key role in protecting the client experience by ensuring every release is thoroughly tested and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and regression testing for our trading platform and supporting brokerage systems.

· Validate functionality across equities, options, and futures trading, as well as account management, funding, reporting, and client servicing tools.

· Partner with Product and Engineering early in the development process to identify testing requirements, edge cases, and potential risks before development begins.

· Execute manual testing while helping expand and maintain automated testing capabilities where appropriate.

· Own quality assurance activities for software releases, ensuring new features and enhancements meet established quality standards before production deployment.

· Document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution while working closely with Engineering teams.

· Participate in Agile ceremonies.

· Perform root cause analysis on production issues and recommend improvements.

· Collaborate with Compliance and Risk teams.

· Maintain QA documentation, testing procedures, test environments, and quality metrics.

· Continuously evaluate opportunities to improve testing processes and automation.

Skills & Experience

· 3–5 years of quality assurance experience within software development environments.

· Experience testing financial services applications, brokerage platforms, trading systems, or other complex transactional software.

· Strong understanding of equity and options trading.

· General understanding of futures trading and brokerage operations.

· Experience working within Agile software development teams.

· Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar tools.

· Experience executing manual testing and supporting automated testing initiatives.

· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience working for a broker-dealer, online brokerage, exchange, clearing firm, or financial technology company.

· Familiarity with OMS, EMS, brokerage platforms, or market data systems.

· Experience testing APIs and systems integrations.

· Exposure to Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.

· Basic SQL knowledge.

· Experience working with Compliance and Risk teams.
