Full Job Description

Data Entry Clerk (Temporary)
This position is recruited and staffed with reSOURCE Government Services, not Charlotte Mecklenburg Public School System

This is a temporary, clerical, customer services position assisting parents with enrollment of their children in the Charlotte Mecklenburg Public School System. The length of this assignment would be for a minimum of 5 months with the possibility of being extended.

Location: Charlotte, NC 28208
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Rate of Pay: $19.00 per hour
*Required: Must be able to clear pre-employment background, drug test; Must possess a valid and active Driver's License*

Duties: A successful data entry clerk performs clerical duties for the purpose of ensuring a smooth admissions process for parents and students.

Enter new student enrollment information into the school system's database.
Verify the accuracy of data to ensure error-free student records.
Handle confidential student information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
Collaborate with school staff and administrators to obtain missing or incomplete enrollment details.
Assist in organizing and maintaining student records to facilitate easy access for authorized personnel.
Will also perform other office duties such as receptionist, phone duty, file clerk and any other office duties as required by management”

Your Strengths:

Experience working in an educational or administrative setting.
Familiarity with student information systems or databases.
Bilingual proficiency, especially in languages common among international students.
Skilled in performing administrative and clerical duties
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to interact with students and parents professionally
Quick learner and ability to sit and work for long hours
Skilled in collecting and compiling students' data
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Trainable

Our Requirements:

HS/GED
Candidates will be required to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
Bilingual Spanish/English would be a +
