MEET CROWN TOWN
Crown Town Landscapes helps values-driven homeowners turn their properties into beautiful, environmentally responsible landscapes. We design them, install them, and maintain them.
The part that makes us different is what happens around the landscape. Our sister companies, Crown Town Compost and Crown Town Farm, collect organic waste, turn it into compost, and feed it back into the gardens we build and the produce we grow. A client who hires us for a garden is buying into a closed loop, not a service call.
Where that has taken us since we started in 2020:
- Grew to 23 team members across three companies, all in Charlotte
- Grew revenue 45 percent year over year
- Built an all-electric maintenance fleet, which almost nobody in this market has done
Our goal is to build a company that produces exceptional landscapes, healthy soil, local food, and meaningful work for our team. If that is the kind of work you want to sell, we would like to hear from you.
OUR VALUES
Our values are how we decide things when the answer is not obvious. You will see them running through everything below, because they are how this seat actually works.
1. Stay Grounded. Trust, accommodate and be candid. The highest success is shared success.
2. Be About It. Hard work is just about the only thing that works.
3. Obstacles Are the Way. Challenges will come. Choose to learn.
4. People First. Serve others and the rest will fall into place.
5. No Finish Line. We can always do better. We can always do more.
SALES TEAM VISION
Our goal is to grow our sales team from the inside.
The garden and enhancement book is where our sellers learn the craft. Deal cycles are short, clients are homeowners you meet face to face, and a single season gives you enough consultations to get genuinely good at this work.
The next seat is design and install sales: full landscape transformations, hardscape, and projects that run well into six figures. That work asks for judgment you can only build by running consultations, writing clean scope, and carrying a quote through to signature. We would rather you learn it here first.
That is the path. Gardens and enhancements now, design and install when you are ready for it. No finish line.
WHO THIS IS FOR
- You have sold before, and you know plants. Both matter in this seat
- You would rather walk a property than sit at a desk
- You want a book of business and the room to grow it
- You want a company that promotes from within, whether you are building a career or changing one
- The environmental side of this work matters to you
WHAT WE OFFER YOU
- Sales coaching and ongoing sales training we continue to invest in. Ride-alongs, deal reviews, and a Sales Lead who runs this work daily
- Warm inbound leads. We are booking past our capacity right now, which is why this seat exists
- A clear path into design and install sales
- Teammates who are hungry. Be About It is a value on our wall because it is true of everyone here
- Plant library, cost models, and a design team you can lean on in front of a client
- AI in your daily workflow. We build our own tools, and you will use them every day for proposals, plant selection, and pipeline
- A comp plan that is flexible and pays well when you drive results
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
A. Run Consultations
- Meet homeowners on their property, walk the site, and diagnose what the landscape actually needs
- Listen for the job behind the request. A cleanup request is often a maintenance client who has not been asked yet
- Photograph and document conditions so design and production can work from your notes
- Set clear expectations on scope, timeline, and price before you leave the driveway
B. Build and Send Quotes
- Write scope that a crew can execute and a client can understand
- Select the plants and lay out the design yourself in many cases, from small bed spaces to full landscapes
- Price work using our cost model, not gut feel
- Turn quotes around fast. Speed is the single biggest lever on close rate in this lane
- Loop in the design team when a request outgrows the garden and enhancement book
C. Own the Follow-Up
- Work every open quote until it closes or the client tells you no
- Keep the CRM current so your pipeline is real and your Sales Lead can coach you off it
- Know when a deal is finished, and say so rather than letting it sit
D. Land and Expand
- Convert one-time cleanups into recurring garden contracts
- Surface maintenance, compost, and enhancement opportunities on properties you already sold
- Hand off cleanly to the Client Success Manager once an account goes recurring
E. Be Adaptable
- Ride along, practice, and take feedback openly
- Bring your losses to your Sales Lead, not just your wins. Obstacles are the way here
- Learn our plant library, our install standards, and our pricing well enough to speak to them cold
RESULTS
- 8 to 10 consultations run per week through the growing season
- Every quote sent within 3 business days of the consultation
- No open quote sits past 7 days without contact. Zero deals aging past 14 days in Pending Approval, ever
- Your pipeline is accurate enough that your Sales Lead never has to ask you what is real
- Cleanup clients convert to recurring garden contracts at a rate that grows quarter over quarter
These are the numbers this seat is measured on. We list them here so you know what the work asks before you apply.
