Partners Closely With: Retail & Distribution Sales, E-Commerce, Revenue Operations, Global Brand & Creative

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a go-to-market Marketing Manager to drive demand and sell-through for its consumer data storage and electronics portfolio across retail and distribution channels. This is a channel- and consumer-facing marketing role, not a product management position.

The person in this role will own the creation and deployment of marketing assets, campaigns, and sales tools that help field and channel teams win shelf space, support successful line reviews, and convert shoppers at the point of purchase, both in-store and online. The ideal candidate can translate brand and product positioning into channel-ready, retailer-specific, and consumer-facing materials that move product.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Enablement & Trade Marketing

Develop and maintain the full library of channel sales tools, including sell sheets, product one-pagers, line review and category review presentations, new-item launch kits, and retailer-specific pitch decks.
Build data-supported selling stories for key accounts such as Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Staples, and Tier 2 retail and distribution partners that connect product benefits to category growth and shopper insights.
Create and manage sample, demo, and merchandising programs, including planogram storytelling, display concepts, and in-store/endcap materials.
Equip Retail & Distribution and International sales teams with pricing, promotion, and assortment communication materials while maintaining a single source of truth for approved messaging and imagery.

Channel & Shopper Marketing

Plan and execute retailer- and channel-specific marketing programs, including retail media such as Amazon Ads and Walmart Connect, on-site merchandising, promotional calendars, and co-op/MDF campaigns.
Partner with accounts and distributors on joint marketing plans that drive traffic and sell-through, managing associated timelines, assets, and budgets.
Optimize the digital shelf, including enhanced/A+ content, product detail pages, imagery, copy, ratings-and-reviews strategy, and search visibility across retail ecommerce sites.
Support specialty and emerging channels, including photo specialty, military exchange, travel retail, and online marketplaces, with tailored assets and programs.

Consumer Marketing & Content

Produce consumer-facing marketing assets across digital, social, video, and packaging touchpoints that build brand awareness and drive purchase intent.
Own creative briefs and manage internal and external creative resources to deliver on-brand, on-time content.
Adapt global brand campaigns for the Americas market and its audiences, including younger demographics ages 18–35 across TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
Ensure packaging, claims, and on-pack messaging support conversion at shelf and comply with brand and channel standards.

Go-to-Market Planning & Launch Execution

Own the go-to-market plan and asset readiness for new product launches and seasonal programs, coordinating timelines across sales, ecommerce, creative, and operations.
Build launch playbooks that specify the assets, channels, promotions, and sales enablement needed for each product and account.
Manage the marketing calendar to ensure campaigns and content align with key retail windows and sales priorities.

Measurement, Budget & Collaboration

Track and report on campaign, content, and program performance, including sell-through, ROI, retail media efficiency, and digital-shelf health, and use those insights to improve results.
Manage assigned marketing budgets, co-op/MDF funds, and agency and vendor relationships.
Serve as the marketing point of contact for the Retail & Distribution sales organization, translating field and account needs into effective marketing deliverables.

What This Role Is Not

This is not a product management position. The role does not own the product roadmap, specifications, sourcing, or product P&L. It is a go-to-market marketing role focused on demand creation, channel activation, sales enablement, and consumer engagement.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
5+ years of consumer products marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on retail, trade/channel, or shopper marketing.
Proven track record of creating sales enablement and channel marketing assets that have driven measurable sell-through.
Experience working with major retail accounts and/or distributors, with familiarity with line review and category review processes.
Working knowledge of the digital shelf and retail media platforms such as Amazon and Walmart, including A+/enhanced content and retail search.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables, deadlines, and stakeholders.
Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build persuasive selling stories from data and insights.
Proficiency with creative and productivity tools, including familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, and Excel, and comfort briefing creative teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in consumer electronics, technology, or data storage categories.
Familiarity with funding management and retailer marketing platforms.
Experience adapting global or corporate brand campaigns for regional or channel markets.
Experience marketing to younger consumer demographics through social and creator-led content.
