Position Summary

The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the daily operations of the Front Office, ensuring seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure. This role plays a key part in upholding luxury service standards, coaching team members, and driving operational excellence.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in luxury hospitality, a passion for guest engagement, and the ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

What You’ll Do

Support the day-to-day operations of the Front Office, including Front Desk, Guest Services, and Bell/Valet coordination
Ensure all guest interactions reflect Forbes Travel Guide standards, including personalized service, guest recognition, and anticipatory hospitality
Lead by example on the floor, actively engaging with guests and resolving concerns with professionalism and urgency
Supervise, coach, and develop Front Office team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service
Assist with scheduling, staffing levels, and daily shift coverage
Monitor guest feedback and service recovery opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up
Collaborate with Housekeeping, Reservations, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Maintain accuracy in guest accounts, room assignments, and operational systems
Support training initiatives and onboarding of new team members

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 3 years of Front Office experience in a luxury hotel environment
Strong understanding and experience working within Forbes Travel Guide or similar luxury service standards
Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving abilities with a guest-first mindset
Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Previous supervisory or leadership experience in Front Office operations
Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
