Full Job Description

*Location Requirement: Candidates must currently reside in the Chattanooga, TN area. This is a field-based position supporting an assigned sales territory. Only local candidates will be considered.

As a Territory Sales Manager, you'll develop new business, strengthen existing customer relationships, and serve as a trusted partner by delivering technical product solutions across your assigned territory. If you're self-motivated, customer-focused, and excited by the opportunity to make an impact through consultative sales, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers within an assigned territory.
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
Conduct routine customer visits to understand customer needs, provide product recommendations, and generate sales.
Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues.
Partner with the Marketing team to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities and campaigns.
Maintain accurate customer records, activities, and sales opportunities within the company's CRM and databases.
Utilize internal reports and sales data to identify growth opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
Prepare and submit expense reports, sales updates, and assigned projects in a timely manner.
Communicate customer feedback, market trends, and competitive information to management and the sales team.
Stay current on company products and effectively communicate technical features and benefits to customers.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must currently reside in the Chattanooga, TN area.
Bachelor's degree preferred; Engineering, Business, or a related technical field is a plus.
Previous outside sales, territory management, or business development experience preferred.
Experience selling technical or industrial products is a plus.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational, negotiation, and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Ability and willingness to learn technical products and confidently present solutions to customers.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory, with occasional domestic and international travel as needed.
