Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting metal components with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about metal fabrication and assembly.

Duties

Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of components
Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and structural parts
Operate forklifts and rigging equipment safely for material handling and positioning during fabrication or installation processes
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors

Qualifications

Proven experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments with a strong focus on welding and fabrication
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Familiarity with ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication practices
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during fabrication tasks
Valid certification or experience in crane operation and forklift driving is a plus
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
