Full Job Description

Overview

Love's Arm Outreach is one of Chattanooga's oldest and most well established faith-based organizations. Our mission is to provide love, advocacy and support for adult female trafficking survivors in a Christ-centered community of grace. We are seeking an exceptional leader with strong passion for helping women recover from the trauma of sex trafficking, and other forms of commercial sexual exploitation, as well as addiction. Ideally, the successful candidate will provide examples of involvement with transformative outcomes related to the physical, emotional, spiritual and financial recovery of those who have been exploited.

This role will challenge the successful candidate to inspire programmatic excellence with a small staff of committed employees and volunteers, including those with lived experience. There must be an understanding of best practice standards for survivor care, addiction recovery and measures for program success.

The ideal candidate will be able to provide examples of accomplished fundraising, stewarding non-profit funds, maintaining community partnerships and fostering an engaged board of directors.

She or he will demonstrate understanding of such concepts as servant leadership, good to great level 5 leadership and situational leadership.

In addition, the candidate must demonstrate sensitivity to cultural and ethnic diversity among staff, clients and stakeholders

Duties

Provide strategic leadership to advance the organization’s mission, vision, and core values across all programs and initiatives
Oversee program development and implementation
Oversee organizational operations, including budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure sustainability and growth
Supervise staff members, ( including those with lived experience as trafficking survivors )fostering a positive work environment that promotes professional development and team cohesion
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, families, community partners, funders, and government agencies
Lead efforts in program evaluation and continuous improvement to maximize impact and efficiency
Oversee compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational policies

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience working with trafficking survivors and those in recovery from substance addiction
Strong background in program management, development, and program evaluation within social work or behavioral health sectors
Extensive experience with diverse stakeholders including religious organizations , families, community organizations, funders and the network of other anti-trafficking organizations
Administrative expertise in budgeting, financial oversight
Excellent public speaking, writing skills and the ability to inspire teams and build collaborative partnerships
Must also be familiar with social media
