Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Salon/Spa Manager to lead our team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure top-tier service quality, and drive business growth. Your leadership will inspire a team dedicated to beauty, wellness, and client satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine management expertise with passion for the beauty industry, fostering a vibrant environment where both clients and staff thrive.

Duties

Supervise daily salon/spa operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service
Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees, providing comprehensive training and development
Manage employee orientation programs to promote a positive work culture and team cohesion
Oversee scheduling, shift management, and payroll processing to maintain operational efficiency
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure outstanding customer service
Monitor inventory levels, manage purchasing and merchandising to optimize product availability
Implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and facilitate ongoing training sessions
Maintain accurate bookkeeping, cash handling, POS system management, and retail math calculations
Control store inventory through effective inventory management practices and inventory control systems

Skills

Strong management skills with experience supervising teams in a retail or service environment
Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
Proficiency in negotiation, sales management, and retail sales techniques
Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math fundamentals
Expertise in employee recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and training & development
Ability to handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, budgeting, and inventory control
Demonstrated leadership with experience in shift management and store management
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock management
Effective marketing skills to promote services and products within the community
Customer service excellence with phone etiquette and organizational skills for administrative tasks
Experience with supervisory roles such as assistant manager or store manager preferred
Multitasking ability to manage scheduling, sales targets, inventory, and team dynamics simultaneously
