Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented QuickBooks Accountant to join our finance team! In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise in QuickBooks and other financial software will drive efficient bookkeeping, payroll processing, and account reconciliation. Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks Online and desktop versions, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded with proper debits and credits.
Perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining vendor relationships.
Prepare journal entries, general ledger entries, and financial reports that adhere to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant accounting standards.
Utilize various financial software such as Sage, Xero, Quicken, and other accounting systems to streamline operations.
Assist with budgeting processes, financial report writing, and technical accounting tasks related to double-entry bookkeeping.

Requirements

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accountant with strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
Solid understanding of corporate accounting practices, accounting procedures, and public accounting standards.
Familiarity with other financial software including Sage, Xero, and Quicken is highly desirable.
Knowledge of GAAP guidelines, general ledger accounting, bank reconciliation techniques, and account reconciliation processes.
Ability to perform detailed account analysis using spreadsheets and other financial tools with high accuracy.
Strong technical skills in accounting systems combined with excellent organizational skills; proficiency in 10 key typing is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to clearly explain financial concepts and collaborate effectively within teams.
