Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting complex litigation cases across a variety of practice areas, including general & commercial litigation, personal injury, estate planning, environmental law, and more. Your expertise will help ensure the smooth progression of cases from inception through resolution by managing legal documents, conducting research, and coordinating with attorneys and clients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to excellence in legal support.

Duties

Assist attorneys with case preparation by organizing and reviewing legal documents using document management systems such as iManage and LexisNexis.
Conduct comprehensive legal research on procedural law, UCC law, tribal regulations, patent law, and other relevant areas utilizing Westlaw and LexisNexis.
Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, contracts, and correspondence to ensure accuracy and compliance with procedural requirements.
Manage case files efficiently through document review, data entry, filing, and maintaining organized records in legal case management systems.
Support litigation activities by coordinating depositions, interviews, court filings, and trial preparation tasks while adhering to deadlines.
Perform client interviews and gather pertinent information related to personal injury cases or workers' compensation claims.
Provide executive administrative support such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, handling phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Assist with project management tasks related to multi-practice areas including family law, landlord-tenant disputes, securities law, immigration law, and environmental compliance.

Requirements

Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in litigation support across multiple practice areas including general & commercial litigation, personal injury law, estate planning, environmental law, and tribal regulations.
Extensive knowledge of procedural law processes and familiarity with legal research tools like Westlaw and LexisNexis.
Proficiency in legal case management software (e.g., PCLaw), document review platforms (e.g., iManage), and document management systems.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading and transcription experience is highly valued.
Effective interviewing skills for client interactions; ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
Knowledge of UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), patent law procedures, securities regulations, land use laws—including tribal laws—and workers' compensation statutes is preferred.
Demonstrated clerical experience including data entry, filing systems management, phone etiquette, and administrative support functions.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment; proactive problem-solving attitude is essential.
