Full Job Description

Seitz Dermatology is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and self-motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional dermatologic care in a friendly, efficient, and patient-focused environment.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced specialty practice, values teamwork, and is passionate about delivering excellent patient care.

Essential Responsibilities

Room patients and accurately document medical histories, medications, and other pertinent information.
Assist providers with dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic treatments.
Perform suture removal and provide post-operative wound care.
Prepare exam and procedure rooms while maintaining cleanliness and infection-control standards.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Educate patients on treatment plans and post-procedure instructions as directed by providers.
Support efficient patient flow and contribute to a positive patient experience.
Collaborate effectively with providers and fellow team members.

Qualifications & Skills

Current Medical Assistant certification or CNA certification required.
Previous clinical experience is preferred but not required.
Proficiency with computers and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
Professional, positive, and patient-centered attitude.
