Full Job Description

Must hold current certification in echocardiography as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact in patient care as an Echo Tech, using your expertise in cardiac imaging to assist clinical teams in diagnosing and treating heart conditions. This contract opportunity is well-suited for professionals with a solid background in echocardiography and a commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate service.

Qualifications:

Current certification in echocardiography (ARDMS or equivalent)
Demonstrated experience performing adult and/or pediatric echocardiograms
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Proficiency with imaging equipment and relevant healthcare technology
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

Conduct and document comprehensive echocardiograms using approved protocols
Collaborate closely with physicians and cardiologists to provide accurate diagnostic data
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the imaging process
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment; report any maintenance issues promptly
Accurately update and manage patient records and imaging results within the healthcare system
Adhere to infection control and safety standards, as well as facility policies and procedures
