Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team in a fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and possess a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes to our guests while maintaining the standards of our restaurant. Your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to menu planning and the overall dining experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and high-quality food preparation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including all cooking stations and equipment.
Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas.
Ensure proper handling and storage of food products, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring precision and consistency in presentation.
Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs when required.
Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Experience

Previous experience as a cook in a fine dining restaurant or similar culinary setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food safety practices.
Familiarity with menu planning and the ability to create innovative dishes is a plus.
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods are essential.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
