Overview:

We are proactively recruiting at this time for openings expected in the future. Kendall College at National Louis University seeks qualified professionals for adjunct teaching positions for our Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management courses.

The Kendall College of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management prepares national and international students for the globally thriving culinary and hospitality sector. Ranked #1 program in Chicago for preparing students for careers in culinary arts and hospitality management by Chicago Michelin Guide restaurants and Chicago’s leading hotels.

Essential Responsibilities:

Development of coursework and updating course materials to keep courses at the leading edge of knowledge in the disciplines.
Engaging in on-going personal professional and faculty development.
Providing student support for every aspect of learning in the form of regular office hours, tutorial assistance, coaching and career and academic assistance and advice.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree required. Master’s preferred. Tested Experience taken into consideration.
Professional certifications a plus
Classroom teaching experience preferred
Significant industry experience required

Adjunct Faculty are paid by course or assignment each term. These rates vary by college and number of credit hours for the course/assignment. While the specific amount will be indicated in an electronic contract that is issued to the Adjunct Faculty member when the course is assigned, an overview of standard rate structure is available below:
