Full Job Description

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)| Chico, CA | Assisted Living & Memory Care

We are hiring an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to lead the care team at our senior living community in Chico, CA.

This is not just a floor nurse position. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of the Care Department, including caregivers, Med Techs, resident care coordination, medication management, compliance, and communication with families and healthcare providers.

What You’ll Do

Lead and supervise caregivers and Med Tech staff
Oversee the medication room and medication administration processes
Ensure compliance with Title 22 and RCFE regulations
Maintain resident documentation, assessments, incident reports, and care plans
Coordinate resident care with physicians, hospice, home health, and families
Support resident admissions, assessments, and service planning
Partner closely with the Executive Director on resident wellness and quality assurance
Train, coach, and support care staff
Help maintain a positive, compassionate, resident-focused environment

Qualifications

Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing.
Minimum 3 years of Assisted Living (RCFE) experience required.
Previous experience supervising caregivers, Med Techs, or clinical staff.
Strong knowledge of California Title 22 regulations.
Experience completing resident assessments and individualized care plans.
Experience with medication management and physician communications.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Compensation & Benefits

$75,000 to $95,000 annually, based on experience
