Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative person to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies. This role involves creating engaging content across various platforms to enhance our brand presence and drive audience engagement.

Role can be part-time to full-time depending on candidates needs. Flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Develop high-quality written content for blogs, articles, website pages, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
Conduct thorough keyword research to optimize content for SEO and improve search engine rankings.
Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Utilize content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress to publish and manage online content.
Manage social media accounts by creating engaging posts and monitoring audience interaction.
Analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics using Google Analytics to refine content strategies.
Assist in the development of white papers, case studies, and other B2B marketing materials.
Participate in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and marketing initiatives.

Experience

Proven experience in content creation, copywriting, or related fields is essential.
Familiarity with SEO best practices, keyword research tools and AI optimization.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva for graphic design tasks.
Experience with HTML/CSS and/or Word Press for basic web editing is a plus.
Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies is beneficial.
Strong editing skills with an eye for detail to ensure high-quality output.
Experience in videography or video editing is an advantage.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools is preferred.
A portfolio showcasing previous writing samples across various formats is required.
Having read "They Ask You Answer by Marcus Sheridan" is a HUGE plus, if not a requirement.

Note From General Manager:

I need someone to handle all of the marketing, or what we call marketing. This person would responsible for all outward facing content. Everything. Website creation and updates, social media posts, video capture and editing, short form and long form video, photography, signage. Anything creative. Besides having some of the skills needed to do those things and the willingness to learn the rest, I need them to be proactive and take intuitive. I cannot stress this enough. They will also likely have to be in the content they create, so you have been forewarned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
