If hired as a driver, you will be responsible for transporting our clients' belongings to their new homes or storage facilities. You must have a clean driving record, a valid driver's license, and experience driving large trucks. In addition, you must be physically fit, able to lift heavy items, and have excellent communication and customer service skills.

Duties:
- Operate and drive a large moving truck to transport clients' belongings to their new homes or storage facilities.
- Plan the most efficient route for each job to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
- Load and unload items onto and off of the moving truck, using appropriate equipment and techniques to prevent damage to the items or the property.
- Communicate with clients throughout the moving process to provide updates on the status of the move and address any concerns or issues.
- Ensure that all items are properly secured and that the truck is properly balanced for safe transportation.
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck and report any mechanical issues or damage to the supervisor.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws and safety regulations, including driving within the posted speed limits, using turn signals, and maintaining a safe following distance.
- Maintain accurate records of the items being transported, including the number and condition of each item, and obtain clients' signatures on the appropriate paperwork.
- Assist with the packing and wrapping of items as needed to ensure their safe transportation.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the moving process, including being friendly, professional, and responsive to clients' needs and concerns.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour in addition to tips and performance bonuses
