Job Description:

AzayaIT, a rapidly growing fixed-cost Managed IT Service Provider in Western Mass, is currently seeking an Office Manager. This role is responsible for providing high-level administrative, technical, and logistical support to team members within the office space. The ideal candidate will be able to manage schedules, complete follow-up tasks, assist in business development, and prepare additional documents and reports as needed.

The Office Manager will be expected to independently initiate, improve, and implement processes to manage projects, information, equipment, and people. This will require a high level of organization and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.

Essential Functions of the Areas of Responsibility:

Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures to make the office more efficient.
Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Deal tactfully with employees, clients, and vendors.
Planning, organizing, developing, implementing, and goals, objectives, policies, procedures, etc., are necessary for providing sound Business techniques.
Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
Seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing business practices.
Assist in sales process with client interaction.
Eagerness to learn every day new things related to IT business.
Assist in placing orders and receiving.
Great attitude with a high-energy personality.
Excellent customer service skills.

Requirements:

Demonstrated history of working cooperatively in a team environment
2+ years of experience as an executive or personal assistant required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be able to type 45 words per minute and use a 10-key calculator.
Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be an independent self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Must be highly detail-oriented and organized
Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and record-keeping systems
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Proficient at operating a personal computer including Microsoft Office: E-mail, Excel, and Word.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to assess and solve complex problems with many variables
Ability to understand technical terms and concepts.

Physical demands for this position:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
Schedule meetings.
Participate in company-wide meetings

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
