Spartan Wall Repair & Waterproofing is a growing foundation repair, waterproofing, and structural repair company serving homeowners and businesses throughout Central Ohio. We are currently hiring experienced Foundation Repair Technicians and Brick & Block Masons / Masonry Laborers to join our professional team.
We’re looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in quality craftsmanship and want to build a long-term career in the construction industry.
Direct experience in foundation repair or masonry is preferred, but we are also willing to train qualified candidates with strong construction backgrounds, mechanical ability, and a proven work ethic.
Candidates with experience in foundation repair, basement waterproofing, crawlspace repair, masonry, concrete, framing, excavation, demolition, drainage systems, structural repair, or general construction are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Depending on your experience and position, duties may include:
● Install interior and exterior basement waterproofing systems
● Excavate foundations and install drainage systems
● Install French drains, drainage matting, sump pumps, discharge lines, and vapor barriers
● Perform structural foundation repairs using wall anchors, carbon fiber reinforcement systems, steel I-beams, wall braces, and stabilization systems
● Repair bowed, leaning, cracked, and deteriorated foundation walls
● Perform crawlspace encapsulation and structural repairs
● Replace or repair floor joists, beams, support posts, rim joists, and sill plates
● Lay brick, concrete block (CMU), stone, and other masonry materials
● Perform tuckpointing, mortar repair, masonry restoration, and lintel installation
● Rebuild foundation walls, chimneys, retaining walls, and structural masonry
● Mix mortar and prepare masonry materials
● Pour, finish, and restore concrete after repair work
● Operate skid steers, mini excavators, demolition equipment, masonry saws, mixers, grinders, and construction tools safely
● Load, unload, and organize tools and materials
● Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
● Provide professional workmanship and excellent customer service
● Perform other construction and crew duties as needed
Qualifications
● Previous experience in foundation repair, basement waterproofing, crawlspace repair, structural repair, or masonry preferred
● Brick and block masonry experience strongly preferred for masonry applicants
● Candidates with experience in concrete, framing, excavation, drainage, demolition, carpentry, or general construction will also be considered
● Concrete flatwork experience is a plus
● Strong mechanical ability and willingness to learn specialized repair systems
● Ability to read a tape measure and follow installation specifications
● Ability to safely operate construction tools and equipment
● Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding work
● Valid driver’s license preferred
● Reliable transportation to and from work
● Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
● Ability to work indoors, outdoors, in basements, crawlspaces, and varying weather conditions
● Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to quality workmanship and safety
