Security Operations and Scheduler (1st Shift)

Location: Blue Ash, OH 45242
Schedule: Monday–Friday, First Shift

Are you an experienced security professional with a background in leadership, scheduling, and hiring? We are seeking a motivated and organized Security Operations / Scheduler to help lead our team and support daily security operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a leadership role, enjoys coordinating personnel, and has the ability to manage staffing needs in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be ready to take ownership of scheduling responsibilities from day one while supporting recruitment, employee development, and operational excellence.

Position Overview

The Security Operations / Scheduler is responsible for ensuring proper staffing coverage, supervising security personnel, coordinating hiring efforts, and assisting with day-to-day operational management. This role combines field leadership with administrative and office-based responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and manage security officer schedules to ensure adequate site coverage
Coordinate staffing assignments and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts
Recruit, interview, and assist with the hiring and onboarding of new security personnel
Maintain employee records, scheduling documentation, reports, and other administrative files
Communicate effectively with clients, employees, and management regarding staffing and operational matters
Support management with process improvements and operational initiatives
Ensure company policies and security procedures are consistently followed

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Security Supervisor, Security Operations Manager, Lead Officer, Head Security Guard, or similar leadership role
Proven experience creating and managing employee schedules
Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and other office software
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Professional appearance and demeanor
