Experienced Paralegal | Probate | Full Time | Trust Administration | Make a Meaningful Impact in a Client-Focused Law Firm

Zimmer Law Firm is seeking an experienced Ohio probate paralegal who enjoys helping families, values accuracy, and wants to become part of a collaborative boutique law firm that emphasizes excellence, personal service, and meaningful client relationships. This full-time position offers meaningful work, modern systems, flexibility, and the opportunity to expand into trust administration and estate planning support.

We are located in Cincinnati, in the Blue Ash suburb, a world apart from the traffic and hustle of downtown Cincinnati. The firm was founded in 1993, and has limited its practice to estate planning, estate administration, and Medicaid planning since then.

This is a full-time position. Limited hybrid remote work may be considered after successful completion of training and demonstrated proficiency.

Responsibilities will include:

· Open probate estates and manage files from intake through closing.

· Communicate directly with fiduciaries, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and probate courts.

· Prepare inventories, accounts, and other probate court filings.

· Assist with collection, transfer and distribution of estate assets.

· Coordinate deadlines and maintain accurate case files.

· Assist with trust estate administration matters.

· Support attorneys with estate planning, trust administration, and related projects as needed.

Technology That Supports Our Team

We utilize the Estate Assist application as a key part of our estate administration processes. Experience with Estate Assist is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate on our software and practices. We continually invest in technology that automates repetitive work so our professionals can spend more time serving clients.

Growth Opportunity

Although this position will initially focus on probate administration, we believe in developing well-rounded professionals. As our firm continues to grow, there may be opportunities to expand into trust administration, estate planning support, and other areas of our practice based on your interests, abilities, and the firm's needs.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a probate paralegal is required. Experience with trust estate administration is a plus. We will train a qualified candidate in trust administration.
A paralegal degree or certificate is preferred but not required.
Comfortable with direct client contact.
Strong knowledge of Ohio probate processes and procedure.
Familiarity with practice in Hamilton, Clermont, Butler, and Warren Counties is a plus.
Familiarity with Estate Assist or similar probate estate management systems is a plus but not required.
Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, dependable work with minimal supervision.

· Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

· Ohio Notary Public commission, or willingness to obtain one.
