Position: PT Clinical Supervisor (15-20 hours)

Immediate Report: Senior Clinical Operations Director

Job Supervision Duty: USTR Fellows

About Us: Fathers’ UpLift is the country’s first mental health and substance abuse treatment facility for fathers and families, helping fathers become and remain emotionally stable for their children. Fathers' UpLift uses peer coaching, father-child therapy, training, youth programs, and support for incarcerated and recently released fathers to honor and rehabilitate the relationship between thousands of fathers and families in the Boston area. In their outpatient clinic, over 800 fathers and families receive mental health services from clinicians trained in trauma who reflect the population served. Outside of the clinic, Fathers' UpLift partners with community centers, substance abuse programs, and other agencies to build a holistic approach to helping fathers rebuild their lives and their relationship with their family.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are embarking on an exciting search for a remarkable individual to join our team as a PT Clinical Supervisor. We are seeking an extraordinary candidate who will play a pivotal role in enhancing our agency's academic and clinical standards. *Note: This position has potential for a hybrid schedule; however, a minimum of 15 hours onsite are required

Management Responsibilities:.

Provide management and clinical supervision for up to five clinical fellows, each with a caseload of 8-10 clients and groups
Leads group supervision and case conferences for the USTR Fellowship Program
Serve as the primary liaison between the agency and affiliated universities for assigned clinical supervisees, where applicable
Complete and submit all required documentation, including process recordings, student evaluations, and performance assessments in a timely manner
Maintain and supervise clinical fellows maintenance of case files in EHR database, including routine chart audits and serves as the final sign off on documentation
Support in developing and implementing training curriculum for USTR Fellows 1-3 times a month
Engage in meetings with direct service staff to provide valuable insights aimed at optimizing client care
Supports clinical fellows with licensing hours

Clinician Responsibilities

Conduct initial intake evaluations and complete all required clinical documentation
Provide routine mental health and/or substance use treatment, including individual, couples, and/or family therapy
Maintain an active caseload (minimum of 5 clients, as assigned)
Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner, including:
Clinical assessments and formulations
Progress notes
Treatment and discharge plans
Coordinate care through consultation with internal staff and external providers, as appropriate
Attend required supervision and team meetings
Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Independent license as a Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience, preferably working with individuals impacted by trauma, substance use, and/or mental health conditions
Experience providing clinical supervision preferred
Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Calendar) and Zoom

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of clinical documentation standards and regulatory compliance
Experience working with substance use and co-occurring (dual diagnosis) populations
Interest and/or experience working with fathers and families preferred
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
Ability to provide clinical leadership, guidance, and mentorship

Work Expectations

Ability to balance supervisory responsibilities with direct clinical service delivery
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all aspects of work
Perform additional duties as assigned, consistent with the role
