Part-Time Social Media Content Creator

Company: Happy Hive Pest Management
Location: Greater Cincinnati
Pay: $16–$20/hour to start, with room to grow based on performance
Schedule: 5–10 per week during trial
Position Type: Part-time

Happy Hive Pest Management is not trying to be just another local pest control company.

We are building one of the most recognizable, trusted, and content-driven pest control brands in the country — starting right here in Greater Cincinnati.

Our mission is to make pest control more professional, more educational, more transparent, and more valuable to homeowners and businesses. We believe the companies that win long-term will not just be the companies that provide great service, but the companies that teach, document, communicate, and build trust at scale.

That is where this role comes in.

We are looking for a creative, driven, high-output Social Media Content Creator who wants a real opportunity to help build something from the ground up. We already have the field work, the customer stories, the pest problems, the behind-the-scenes moments, and the vision. Now we need someone who can help turn that raw material into consistent, high-quality content.

Our goal is simple:

We want Happy Hive to become one of the biggest pest control content brands in the game.

If you are creative, ambitious, organized, and hungry to build a portfolio that actually matters, this could be a major opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will help turn real pest control work into educational, engaging, and professional content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Google Business Profile.

This may include:

Editing short-form videos
Creating social media posts
Writing captions
Organizing raw photos and videos
Helping build a weekly content calendar
Turning field footage into customer education content
Helping capture photos and videos when needed
Repurposing one piece of content into multiple formats
Helping tell the story of Happy Hive, our team, and the problems we solve

This is not just about making random posts. The goal is to build a content machine.

You do not need pest control experience. We can teach the industry.

Starting Expectations

To start, the goal will be helping produce:

2 short videos per week
2–4 social media posts per week
1 Google Business Profile post per week
Organized photo/video folders
Simple weekly content ideas
Occasional field or behind-the-scenes content support

The first phase will include a trial run so we can evaluate quality, communication, speed, reliability, and fit.

Compensation will be based on ability, performance, and responsibility level. There is room for this role to grow if the right person proves they can execute.
