Full Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Accounting Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing daily bookkeeping and accounts receivable functions, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting accrual-based accounting processes, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with at least three years of QuickBooks experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Manage all accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payment application, collections, account reconciliation, and resolving billing discrepancies.
Maintain accurate financial records by processing deposits, reconciling bank accounts, recording transactions, journal entries and supporting accrual accounting practices.
Verify invoices, schedule and process payments, monitor outstanding balances, and maintain detailed customer account records.
Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.
Communicate professionally with customers regarding invoices, payments, and account status while collaborating with internal departments to resolve issues.
Assist with month-end closing activities and perform additional bookkeeping and accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on QuickBooks experience required.
3+ years of bookkeeping and/or accounts receivable experience.
Working knowledge of accrual accounting principles.
Preferred experience in inventory management
Experience preparing financial statements, including Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.
Strong bank reconciliation and general bookkeeping skills.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.

8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
