Full Job Description

Our client in Clare, MI, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $24

Shift:
2nd Shift - 4 pm to 12 am
3rd Shift - 10 pm to 6 am (Sunday night start)
overtime is scheduled prior to shift start time and can be heavy, including Saturdays

What's the Job?

Operate and perform set-ups on manual and CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and presses.
Manage multiple CNC machines simultaneously, ensuring efficient production flow.
Create and monitor toolpath strategies using Inventor CAM software for 2.5 to 5-axis milling and mill-turn operations.
Perform quality checks, complete shop work orders, and document inspection results.
Conduct daily maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues independently.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED. REQUIRED
At least 3 years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment. REQUIRED
Proficiency in reading blueprints and using a tape measure.
Experience with Inventor CAM software and CNC machines such as lathes, mills, and presses.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
