Full Job Description

Social Media Coordinator Position

We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Coordinator to manage and grow the online presence of our Kid to Kid and Uptown Cheapskate locations. This role is responsible for executing social media strategy and content creation across 7 store locations and requires regular weekly travel to our stores in Alpharetta, Buford, Cumming, Johns Creek, and Marietta.

Responsibilities

● Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness,

engagement, and customer growth

● Manage daily activity across social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest

● Create, capture, and curate engaging photo and video content tailored to each platform

● Monitor social media trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities

● Collaborate with store teams to maintain brand consistency across all channels

● Track performance and prepare monthly reports utilizing metrics from social media and internal sales numbers to determine social media effectiveness

● Stay current with social media best practices, platform updates, and industry trends

● Lead community outreach efforts by coordinating local partnerships and identifying brand ambassadors to expand awareness and engagement

● Manage community engagement by responding to customer messages and actively

interacting with followers through comments, likes, and conversations across social media platforms

● Ability to switch brand voices between two concepts

Additional Expectations

● Manage social media for 7 retail store locations

● Travel weekly to all store locations to capture on-site content

● Be available for occasional weekend event coverage throughout the year

Qualifications

● Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator or in a similar digital marketing role

● Proficiency with social media management and content tools (Meta Business Suite,

Canva, Rella, etc.)

● Experience creating graphics in Canva

● Strong video editing skills; experience with CapCut or similar editing software required

● Understanding of social listening and online community management

● Excellent proofreading skills and strong attention to detail

● Basic understanding of public relations principles

● Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
