Medical Receptionist:
BYoung Physical Therapy & The Running PTs Hours: M-TH 7am-7pm, F 7am-1pm

(We do not offer 12hr shifts)

Location: Apex, NC
Job Type: Full-time
Work Setting: In-person

*EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/PREFERRED*

We are currently hiring a Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join our team, ideal for individuals considering a healthcare career and offers direct exposure to a fast-paced medical environment.

Our clinics operate across four locations in the Triangle, serving patients in a dynamic, high-energy setting where exceptional customer service is a top priority. Medical Receptionist will manage front office operations, support clinical staff, and ensure smooth daily workflow. Success in this role requires strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, along with the ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism.

Applicants must also demonstrate:

Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction and relationship-building.
This position requires consistent and reliable attendance to meet patient care and scheduling needs.
Reliable transportation to and from the clinic is required.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact: answer phones, greet patients, schedule appointments, process payments, verify insurance and authorizations.
Manage daily administrative functions including transaction reconciliation, handling correspondence (emails, calls, billing, insurance), and maintaining accurate records.
Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed.
Collaborate with administrative staff and provide assistance to colleagues and management when needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with medical office management and insurance processes.
Previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, or administrative role preferred.
High school diploma required.

Schedule:

Clinics operate Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
