Full Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Supply Chain Specialist to support procurement, logistics, and materials management activities across our operations. This role will play an active part in diversifying our supply chain and reducing BOM cost by developing alternative suppliers, negotiating prices, and reducing reliance on single sources. The ideal candidate will have both supply chain expertise and the ability to understand technical requirements for engineered products and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

· Drive supply chain resilience by identifying, qualifying, and onboarding alternative suppliers to reduce single-source risk and improve cost competitiveness.

· Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and lead times, and monitor performance against quality and delivery metrics.

· Track inventory levels, component shortages, and production schedules to prevent delays.

· Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems, including lead times, costs, and supplier information.

· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical or supply-related issues.

· Prepare and analyze supply chain reports, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and cost savings opportunities.

· Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and safety requirements in all sourcing and logistics activities.

Qualifications:

· Strong understanding of technical documentation such as drawings, BOMs, and specifications.

· Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required).

· Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.

· Ability to analyze data, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.

· Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Preferred:

· Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or other highly technical industries.

· Familiarity with lean supply chain practices and continuous improvement methods.

· Knowledge of import/export regulations and logistics management.

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
