The Medical Office Manager supports daily operations by supervising office staff, coordinating schedules, managing inventory, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. They assist the manager with HR tasks, and improving patient flow to ensure efficient, high-quality care. This role bridges administrative tasks with staff leadership to maintain a productive, patient-centered environment.

We are seeking to hire a highly organized and proactive Assistant Medical Office Manager to provide comprehensive support to the Office Manager. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a variety of tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining effective communication with manager and staff. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can handle multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

Staff Supervision: Assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, and mentoring staff.
Operational Support: Oversee daily office operations.
Administrative Coordination: Maintain medical records, manage inventory, order supplies, and handle correspondence.
Compliance Duties: Ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
Workflow Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in patient flow and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience in a medical office assistant role or healthcare setting.
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in EHR systems, medical terminology, and insurance billing (ICD-10/CPT codes).
Leadership: Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills. Knowledge of office management procedures.
Organization: Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in health administration is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
