Full Job Description

Spirit Jersey is seeking an experienced, hands-on Domestic Production Manager to oversee our end-to-end vertical apparel production, as well as our domestic subcontract supplier bases. This role sits at the intersection of operations, vendor management, and execution, ensuring product is delivered on time, on cost, and to Spirit Jersey’s quality standards.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident navigating cross-border production. This role requires strong relationship management, real-time problem solving, and the ability to scale systems and processes as the business grows.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Production Management

Manage day-to-day production operations across Los Angeles and Orlando-based factories and subcontract supplier bases.
Own the full production lifecycle from PO issuance through delivery to distribution centers.
Ensure production milestones, lead times, and delivery dates are met across all active styles.
Manage WIP reporting and maintain accurate, up-to-date production status across all programs.
Proactively identify risks related to capacity, timelines, materials, or quality and escalate as needed.
Oversee licensing approvals and sample submissions.

Vendor & Factory Management

Build and maintain strong working relationships with factory partners.
Hold vendors accountable to quality, capacity, cost, and lead-time expectations.
Conduct regular factory visits to assess quality standards, capacity, and operational performance.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors to support growth and mitigate production risk.

Quality & Problem Solving

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues including delays, quality concerns, and capacity constraints.
Ensure adherence to Spirit Jersey’s construction, fit, and quality standards.
Partner cross-functionally to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Systems & Communication
Maintain accurate production data within ERP and PLM systems.
Communicate production status clearly and consistently to cross-functional stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement of production workflows, systems, and reporting.

Qualifications

3 + years work experience in apparel PD/sourcing environment.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Ability to present complex concepts with actionable recommendations across varying levels
Expertise in using Excel and BI tools to analyze large datasets
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently within time constraints
Strong follow-up and issue resolution abilities

Salary Range
$USD annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
