General Purpose: As our Shipper, you're the heartbeat of our logistics operation. You'll be the last set of eyes on outgoing orders and the first line of defense on incoming freight. From receiving materials to packaging and shipping finished goods, your work directly impacts our customers' experience and our company's reputation. You'll work alongside a dedicated team and play a critical role in keeping everything moving — safely, accurately, and on time. Hours are Monday- Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or Tuesday-Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm subject to change based on business needs. Pay starts at $23/ hour, or more DOE. Benefit package includes employer-paid health insurance, employer-paid short-term disability, paid time off, paid holidays, and a 401k retirement plan with company match, and HSA. Optional additional life insurance, Dental and Vision options and Direct Primary Care.

Primary Duties:

Receiving

Accurately receive and inspect all incoming freight, materials, and parts
Confirm purchase orders and reconcile receipts in our ERP system (M1)
Identify quality issues or discrepancies and escalate promptly
Stage and place materials in their proper designated areas

Shipping

Package parts and products appropriately to ensure safe transit
Prioritize shipments based on committed ship dates — because deadlines matter
Demonstrate a solid working knowledge of all shipping methods and carriers
Process all required paperwork and documentation with precision
Pull and organize finished inventory for resale
Escalate any shipping instruction issues before they become problems

Inventory Management

Stock and organize inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) methodology
Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory
Maintain proper labeling on all materials
Coordinate with receiving and production teams on inventory needs
Keep inventory areas clean, organized, and audit-ready

Workstation & Daily Operations

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping area — always
Communicate proactively with the Purchasing Manager on needed supplies

5. Other Duties

Other duties as needed to complete tasks and company business.

Essential Skills and Experience: Must have valid driver’s license. Helpful to have had inventory or shipping experience. Must have the ability to utilize technology and computers, for processing and be detail oriented. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Professional attitude and excellent communication skills. Team first mindset with a steady, dependable work ethic.

Physical Demands and Work Environment: Work is completed all over the facility, inside and out. Must be able to meet the critical physical demands of the written Shop Worker Functional Job Description for DPI. Must be able to drive trucks and forklifts. And lift heavy items as part of the daily work requirements.
