Full Job Description

Job Summary:
IWI US Inc. is seeking a Skilled CNC Milling Operator to join our new production facility in Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC milling machines to support safe, efficient, and high-quality production. The position requires the ability to interpret manufacturing documentation, perform machine setup using CNC programs supplied by the CNC Programmer, verify part quality throughout production, and make approved tool offset and wear compensation adjustments to maintain dimensional compliance.

Essential Responsibilities:

Perform complete setup of CNC milling machines according to setup sheets, tooling lists, and engineering documentation.
Load and verify CNC programs provided by the CNC Programmer.
Install and preset cutting tools, fixtures, jigs, and establish workpiece zero points.
Perform first-piece setup and dimensional verification before releasing the job to production.
Operate CNC milling machines during production
Ability of using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, etc.)
Monitor machining performance, tool wear, surface finish, and process stability.
Perform approved tool offset, wear compensation, and machine adjustments to maintain dimensional compliance.
Replace worn or damaged cutting tools and update offsets as required.
Identify machining issues and work with Production, Engineering and Quality to resolve manufacturing problems.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED required; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
5–7 years of CNC machining experience (milling: 4 & 5 axis; turning: multi-axis).
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T.
Familiarity with Haas and Fanuc controllers preferred.
Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices preferred.
