Job Summary

We are seeking an upbeat, experienced Patient Care Coordinator to join our amazing team! This pivotal role serves as the patient's primary point of contact, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from check-in to check-out, while expertly managing all administrative and insurance-related tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and eager to work in a collaborative, high-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Front Office Coordination:

Greet and welcome patients warmly, managing the check-in and check-out processes with professionalism.
Answer multi-line phone calls and manage patient communications (phone, email, text), addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments efficiently to optimize the daily schedule and patient flow.
Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments using phone or online portals.
Discuss treatment plans, financial options, and payment policies with patients, obtaining signed financial agreements as needed.
Collect co-pays, outstanding balances, and daily payments, ensuring accurate financial transactions.
Maintain accurate and organized patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding confidentiality.

Qualifications & Skills

Required Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience working in a dental office environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong telephone etiquette.
Interpersonal Skills: A pleasant and compassionate personality with excellent customer service skills and a "can-do" attitude to make patients feel comfortable.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and the ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and willingness to learn

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
