Full Job Description

Graphic Artist / Production Specialist Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Graphic Artist / Production Specialist to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced production environment while learning multiple aspects of the decorated apparel, sign, banner, and laser engraving industries.

The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, computer savvy, and has strong CorelDRAW skills. This is a hands-on position that combines graphic design, production management, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

Create and modify customer artwork using CorelDRAW.
Prepare production-ready artwork for screen printing, embroidery, laser engraving, signs, and banners.
Print films for screen printing production.
Manage jobs through the production process and ensure deadlines are met.
Create signs, banners, decals, and promotional products.
Operate laser engraving equipment for tumblers, leather patches, cutting boards, awards, and other engraved products.
Learn and utilize software including Trotec Ruby, HP Production Manager, Printavo, and PS Ghostview.
Maintain accurate production records and job notes.
Perform quality control checks on artwork and finished products.
Assist with machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Communicate professionally with customers and team members regarding artwork and production requirements.
Maintain an organized and efficient work environment.
Learn all equipment and processes within the department.

Qualifications

Proficiency in CorelDRAW is required.
Strong computer and typing skills.
Graphic design experience with a portfolio showcasing logo design, branding, and production artwork.
Experience with sign and banner production preferred.
Experience with laser engraving equipment preferred.
Knowledge of screen printing processes preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and software.
Production or manufacturing experience is a plus.
