PLEASE NOTE: To be considered for this position, Polston is currently hiring remote telework positions for workers located in AL, AZ, AR, CA, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, MD, MA, MO, MT, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, and WI.

REQUIRED:

Enrolled Agent, active status.

Minimum of one year’s experience negotiating tax resolutions with the state and/or IRS.
What Will You Do?
Supported by experienced staff, Enrolled Agents will be part of the creative process in solving tax cases and managing an assigned caseload.

Review a detailed financial analysis of the client’s income, expenses, and assets to determine and/or confirm qualified resolution options for client.

Research and develop strategies to defend client’s position while considering their specific goals.

Negotiate tax resolutions on behalf of clients with the state and/or IRS government entities either via phone or in person.

Consistently communicate with clients via email/phone/video call/mail regarding case updates and expectations.

Respond in a timely manner to client inquiries and requests.

Prioritize and manage caseload and assignments.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Enrolled Agent, active status.

Minimum of one year’s experience negotiating tax resolutions with the state and/or IRS.
