Full Job Description

Immediate Hiring – Emergency Department Registered Nurses

Ready to take your emergency nursing career to the next level? We're hiring experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) for a 13-week travel assignment in Asheville, North Carolina.

This opportunity is ideal for ER nurses who thrive in high-acuity environments, enjoy fast-paced emergency care, and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Mandatory Requirements to Apply

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience
Current BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Current PALS Certification
Current TNCC Certification
Current CPI Certification
Current NIHSS Certification
ENPC Certification (required within 90 days of hire)
Strong emergency assessment, trauma care, and critical-thinking skills
Must be available to work every other weekend

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a Level II Trauma Center
Experience in a Comprehensive Stroke Center
Experience in a high-volume Emergency Department (100,000+ annual visits)
Previous HCA experience
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care for patients with a wide range of acute illnesses, injuries, and trauma conditions.
Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, emergency interventions, and continuous monitoring.
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments according to physician orders.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide timely, evidence-based patient care.
Maintain accurate electronic documentation while ensuring patient safety and compliance with emergency care protocols.

Schedule: 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
