Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, loves being a vital part of a cohesive team, and takes pride in helping things run smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide general administrative support to accounting staff, including scheduling, file management, and correspondence
Answer and direct incoming calls and emails professionally
Maintain and organize digital and paper filing systems
Prepare documents, reports, and spreadsheets as requested
Assist with invoice processing, billing, and client account updates
Coordinate meetings, manage calendars, and arrange office logistics
Maintain office supplies and liaise with vendors as needed
Help ensure compliance with company policies and confidentiality requirements

Qualifications:

Prior experience in an administrative or office support role (experience in an accounting or finance environment is a plus)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional demeanor and a team-player attitude
High level of discretion when handling confidential information
