Essential Functions:

Manage and execute social media content for The Essex Resort & Spa, Essex Kitchen, The Essex Experience, and Double E.
Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content across multiple platforms.
Capture photo and video content showcasing hospitality, dining, spa, retail, entertainment, and special events.
Monitor social media channels and respond to guest inquiries and engagement in a timely manner.
Maintain the content calendar and organize marketing assets.
Coordinate donation requests and sponsorship fulfillment.
Assist with the creation and updating of marketing materials, including menus, signage, flyers, and Canva-based graphics.
Support marketing campaigns, events, and promotional initiatives while maintaining brand standards.

Marginal Functions:

Assist with on-property photo and video shoots.
Support marketing events and community outreach initiatives.
Perform other marketing and administrative duties as assigned.

Education:

Associate or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.

Knowledge, Training, & Skills:

Experience managing business social media accounts (professional experience required; personal social media experience alone is not sufficient).
Strong photography and short-form video creation skills.
Proficiency in Canva is required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, etc.) is nice to have!
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Basic graphic design and copywriting skills.
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Work Experience:

Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in marketing, social media, communications, or related fields.
Hospitality, tourism, retail, or lifestyle brand experience is preferred.
