Position: Front Desk Coordinator

About Us:
Join the team at Medi-Weightloss of Drexel Hill, where we are dedicated to helping patients transform their health through a medically supervised weight loss program, personalized support, and a positive, welcoming clinic experience. We are looking for a dependable, friendly, and detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator who will help create an excellent first impression for our patients and support smooth daily clinic operations.

Position Overview:
The Front Desk Coordinator plays an important role in the overall patient experience and daily workflow of the clinic. This position requires someone who is organized, professional, comfortable communicating with patients, and able to manage both administrative and patient-facing responsibilities. The ideal candidate will help patients feel welcomed and informed while ensuring that scheduling, paperwork, insurance verification, billing, and EMR documentation are completed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Front Desk Coordinator working under the direct supervision of the Office Manager, you will:

Create a friendly, welcoming environment by greeting patients warmly and maintaining high customer service standards.
Coordinate the clinical schedule to help ensure smooth, efficient provider and clinic workflow.
Manage patient paperwork, intake forms, consent forms, and other required documentation.
Educate patients on what they need to complete before and during their visit, and help them understand what to expect throughout the program.
Verify insurance information and assist with insurance-related processes.
Understand both insurance-based and self-pay billing models, and help communicate basic billing expectations to patients.
Utilize the EMR system effectively and accurately for patient scheduling, documentation review, and administrative support.
Complete real-time chart audits to help ensure that all required components are correct and complete in the EMR.
Utilize a multi-line phone system to answer, route, and respond to incoming calls efficiently and professionally.
Conduct patient follow-up calls as needed to help support engagement, retention, and patient progress.
Process accounts receivable transactions accurately and securely.
Become knowledgeable about Medi-Weightloss products, supplements, and program offerings in order to assist with patient education and product purchases.
Participate in clinic marketing and patient engagement efforts to support clinic growth, profitability, and success.

Qualifications:

Prior front desk, medical office, patient service, or healthcare administrative experience preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable using EMR systems, scheduling software, phones, and basic office technology.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Strong attention to detail, especially with paperwork, insurance information, billing, and chart accuracy.
Professional, dependable, organized, and patient-focused.
Interest in health, wellness, weight loss, or patient coaching is a plus.

Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who is friendly, proactive, organized, and able to make patients feel comfortable from the moment they contact or enter the clinic. The right person will enjoy working with people, supporting a clinical team, and helping patients stay engaged in their weight loss journey.

Schedule:
This is a part-time, onsite position during clinic hours.
Clinic hours are currently:

Monday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Thursday: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Compensation: $20–$24 per hour, based on experience, with opportunity for performance-based incentives.
