Serving a diverse range of clients including Departments of Transportation, commercial campuses, homeowner’s associations, and public works departments across nine states, we have built a strong reputation since our founding in 1980. Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records.

· Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable

· Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations

· Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

· Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation

· Monitor expenses and assist with budgeting and forecasting

· Assist with payroll and other accounting-related activities as needed

· Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards

· Support audits, tax preparation, and other financial reviews.

· Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly

Skills & Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred

· 2-5 years of accounting experience preferred

· Knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practices

· Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop & Online

· Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information

· Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

· Experience with union reporting and certified payroll preferred.
