About the Opportunity

A growing collision repair organization is seeking an experienced Collision Estimator to join a high-volume Denver-area operation.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who understands both the customer-facing and production sides of collision repair. The right candidate can accurately assess damage, write complete repair plans, manage supplements, communicate effectively with insurance partners, and help keep vehicles moving through the repair process efficiently.

This shop serves customers throughout Denver, Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Westminster, Aurora, Commerce City, Thornton, and surrounding Metro Denver communities. The workload is steady, the expectations are high, and the opportunity for long-term career growth is significant.

Position Summary

The Collision Estimator is responsible for examining vehicles for collision-related damage, documenting the time and effort required to repair and refinish vehicles to pre-accident condition, and ensuring repairs are properly planned and executed in accordance with company standards and insurance partner guidelines.

Additional training and development opportunities are available to support continued growth and success in the role.

ResponsibilitiesCustomer Communication & Repair Planning

Greet customers by phone and in person
Explain the repair process, insurance procedures, and payment expectations
Maintain proactive communication throughout the repair process
Help create a positive customer experience and support strong CSI results

Vehicle Intake & Damage Analysis

Perform vehicle intake and damage documentation
Photograph vehicles and maintain accurate repair files
Identify visible and hidden damage
Review OEM repair procedures and documentation as needed

Estimating & Supplements

Prepare accurate repair estimates
Write and negotiate supplements when additional damage is identified
Review parts pricing and repair procedures
Utilize CCC ONE and supporting systems effectively
Ensure repair plans support efficient production flow

Insurance & DRP Compliance

Understand and follow insurance carrier and DRP requirements
Maintain compliance with repair documentation standards
Work collaboratively with adjusters, partners, and customers

Production Support

Assist management with repair scheduling and workflow management
Coordinate paperwork and repair file documentation
Monitor repair progress and help remove production obstacles
Coordinate sublet operations when necessary

Quality Assurance

Support company quality standards throughout the repair process
Review repairs prior to delivery
Ensure repair files are complete and accurate before closing

Administrative Responsibilities

Maintain accurate, real-time file documentation
Reconcile repair files for delivery and final billing
Complete additional duties as assigned

Job duties may be adjusted based on business needs and operational requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of collision repair industry experience
Previous estimating experience preferred
CCC ONE experience required
Strong understanding of repair planning, supplements, and insurance processes
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Strong communication and customer service skills
Effective organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Valid driver's license required
Eligible to work in the United States
Ability to pass a background check
