We're seeking a passionate, organized, and energetic Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead our Dietary Services Department. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while leading a team dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

What You'll Do

As our Dietary Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of the Dietary Department while ensuring residents receive nutritious, appealing meals and excellent service.

Responsibilities include:

Leading, coaching, and developing dietary staff
Managing daily kitchen and dining operations
Ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local regulations
Collaborating with clinical teams to meet resident nutritional needs
Monitoring food quality, presentation, and resident satisfaction
Managing department budgets and food costs
Ordering food, supplies, and inventory
Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
Assisting with menu planning and special dining events
Supporting survey readiness and regulatory compliance efforts
Addressing resident and family concerns related to dining services
Creating a culture of hospitality and customer service throughout the department

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification
Knowledge of long-term care dietary regulations and nutritional standards
Experience leading and supervising staff
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and infection control practices

Preferred Qualifications

Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience
Experience managing food budgets and inventory
Experience with survey preparation and regulatory compliance
Experience developing staff and department leaders
ServSafe Certification or equivalent food safety certification
