Full Job Description

Tally Services, Inc. is looking for a full charge bookkeeper to join our staff!

This position also includes some Controller duties with an opportunity to grow to help support our CFO support for our clients. If you are interested in growth - we are the place for you.

This position is starting at 15-30 hours a week. There is high potential for this position to grow up to full time within 4-6 months (if desired, not required).

We are a small accounting firm located in Old Town Fort Collins. We provide high level accounting and bookkeeping services for small businesses. We are very fortunate to service amazing, innovative and philanthropically focused businesses!

You'll work with a professional yet casual and upbeat environment with high expectations for top-notch client relations. You must be ready to collaborate with our team with the utmost professionalism along with a supportive, friendly attitude.

Because we are so focused on client relations it is paramount to be able to be resourceful, flexible and all with a great attitude. We often are creating systems of accounting and efficiencies for our clients and as such are often required to be innovative in creating end results. We are very team oriented, both in our office among staff and with our clients.

Skills and Experience Required:

MUST: QuickBooks Expert
MUST: Strong understanding of Profit and Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements and the differences thereof
A solid understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, and preparation of monthly financial statements
Payroll experience
Sales tax experience
1099 experience
Highly skilled organizer
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects
Willingness to learn other accounting software
Outstanding customer service and communication skills including writing clear and precise emails, and regular check-ins and follow up with clients, with a professional and friendly style
