Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled <PERSON> to join our dynamic culinary team! In this role, you will be at the heart of food creation, bringing delicious baked goods and culinary delights to life with precision and creativity. Your expertise in food preparation, cake decorating, and high-volume production will ensure our offerings are both visually stunning and tastefully exceptional. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talent in a fast-paced environment that values quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and other confections, adhering strictly to recipes and quality standards
Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and decorating tools safely and efficiently
Execute food preparation tasks with precision, maintaining consistency across all products
Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair to meet specifications and presentation standards
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
Manage food handling processes to ensure freshness, safety, and hygiene at all times
Support high-volume production needs while maintaining attention to detail and quality controlRequirements
Proven experience in food production, pastry preparation, or cake decorating within a commercial kitchen or bakery setting
Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures
Serv-Safe Manager Certified
Skilled in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in baking techniques
Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in baked goods and pastry items
Experience working in the food industry, catering, or restaurant environments preferred
Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude toward team collaboration
Basic math skills for measurements, portioning, and inventory management
High-volume production experience is highly desirable for this role
