Thryv is a 130-year-old company that started as the original Yellow Pages and is now a leading all-in-one SaaS platform for small-to-mid size businesses. Customers run their marketing, customer communication, scheduling, payments, and online reputation from a single dashboard.

We're hiring our next class of Senior Software Account Representative — early-to-mid career sales reps who want a real path into SaaS at a company with the stability of a 130-year history and the upside of a fast-moving software business.

The Role

This is a senior-level individual contributor role focused on two things: growing revenue within an existing client base and hunting for new SaaS business. You'll manage a portfolio of current software clients — nurturing relationships, identifying expansion opportunities, and driving upsells — while also self-generating new opportunities through prospecting, referrals, and company-initiated programs.

You'll spend the first 8 weeks in paid training (3 weeks classroom, 5 weeks hands-on).Most client interactions are remote, but this role requires approximately 25% face-to-face engagement with clients in your local market.

You'll also have access to a database of 400,000+ prior leads to draw from, and have opportunities for in-person meetings with your clients in order to maximize sales potential.

Compensation

Base salary: $60,000 per year, set by your home location's pay area
Monthly sales incentive: $30,000 annual target, paid monthly based on net new SaaS revenue
Transition pay: $2,769 bonus after completing training program

Earnings depend on individual performance against monthly revenue targets

What You'll Need

3+ years of direct sales experience — SaaS or software preferred
2+ years in an outbound, full sales cycle role
Strong phone presence, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to build relationships quickly
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Proficient in MS Office and able to learn new platforms and systems
Organized, competitive, and goal-oriented — you know your numbers and you hit them

Important Requirements

No secondary employment — this is a full-time, fully committed role
No planned absences during the first 90 days of training
Background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check are conditions of employment
Camera-on attendance during all 8 weeks of training is mandatory
