Full Job Description

CyberLinx Solutions, LLC is seeking a Vulnerability Management Analyst to support our cybersecurity services by managing vulnerability scanning, risk prioritization, and remediation tracking across enterprise environments. This role is responsible for identifying security weaknesses in infrastructure and applications, validating findings, and working closely with system owners to ensure timely remediation.

Key Responsibilities

Vulnerability Assessment & Validation

Conduct regular vulnerability scans across infrastructure, endpoints, network devices, and applications.
Analyze scan results to validate vulnerabilities and eliminate false positives.
Perform manual verification where necessary to confirm exploitability and impact.

Risk Prioritization & Remediation

Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk, severity, exploitability, and business impact.
Work with system owners, IT teams, and application owners to coordinate remediation efforts.
Provide actionable remediation guidance and mitigation strategies.
Track vulnerability remediation progress and ensure timely closure of findings.
Maintain accurate records in vulnerability management and ticketing systems.
Support compliance requirements and internal security policies.
Manage scan scheduling and execution across multiple environments.
Monitor scan performance and troubleshoot scanning issues.
Generate vulnerability metrics and status reports.
Conduct risk trend analysis and provide insights to stakeholders.
Ensure consistent tracking and reporting of remediation activities.
