Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Food Manager to oversee our food service operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry and hospitality management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality service. As a Food Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all food safety standards are met while providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Manage daily operations of the food service department, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and storage of food products.
Train and develop staff in food preparation techniques, customer service skills, and operational procedures.
Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for food handling and cash handling.
Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and coaching to enhance team effectiveness.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and dining areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications

Proven experience in the food industry or hospitality management is essential.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food management.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Strong cash handling experience with attention to detail in financial transactions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
A passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a dynamic setting.
