ms consultants is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist position at our Columbus, Ohio office. The successful individual will greet and assist callers, visitors, vendors, and staff day-to-day. The individual will also perform routine office support work as needed and directed, based on the needs of the business.

What You'll Do:

We are looking for an organized, self-driven individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills. The Receptionist will perform general clerical duties in accordance with established procedures.

Specific responsibilities

Answering and distributing incoming calls and directing calls of specific and general nature to the appropriate party.
Greeting and directing visitors, clients, and applicants to the appropriate party.
Opening and closing lobby, front desk and phones for business.
Maintaining all conference room schedules for meetings via Microsoft Outlook.
Processing and distributing all incoming and outgoing mail and shipments.
Performing general administrative duties.
Maintaining all supplies associated with the mailroom.
Maintaining daily logs for visitors, and employees.
Maintaining distribution lists for incoming material.
Maintaining and updating switchboard and software as necessary.
Maintaining access for Key Fobts/swipe cards for security system.
Serving as a liaison for troubleshooting phones and software when necessary.
Performing special projects and other related business duties as requested and delegated, in support of the office and administrative staff.

What You'll Bring:

Knowledge and Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to multitask and prioritize specific situations
Ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information
Must be able to maintain composure and provide excellent customer service
Ability to operate a multiline switchboard software
Strong Microsoft office skills, including Word, Outlook, and OneNote, Excel preferred.
Ability to learn new software business product such as Deltek.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma
Three years of work experience in a professional office environment with experience directing inbound calls.
Must be available to work business hours (8:00am-5:00pm) 5 days/week and be reliable.
